In this candid and comprehensive video, I walk viewers through my personal story of evolving from a college student and digital artist into the founder of Dream Launch Studio—a company focused on building and launching AI-powered MVPs for entrepreneurs and startups worldwide. I open up about the trajectory, challenges, learnings, and pivotal moments that fueled my growth to $25,000 in revenue in just six months.
Attending MSIT in Delhi, I started my journey as a freelance digital artist on platforms like Fiverr and DeviantArt. Inspired by artists on Instagram, I created and sold digital illustrations, gradually saving enough to buy better tools and expand my skills.
Navigating Indian cultural skepticism around digital art careers, I convinced my parents of my focus and commitment by demonstrating my early achievements and work ethic.
Fearing the declining demand for digital art roles due to the rise of AI, I began learning Figma and pivoted toward design, taking on gig work in the design space, but still searching for my long-term path.
Dissatisfied with design alone, I dove into development, joining the 100xDevs cohort, and soon landed internships and stints at companies like NewGen, Exartian, and Highfive.
I emphasized the importance of consistent application efforts, leveraging LinkedIn and Twitter, and capitalizing on even small pockets of spare time for outreach and upskilling.
While at my first development job, I built a Chrome extension which, despite gaining a user base, revealed my lack of personal interest in the sports sector. Recognizing the need for founder-product fit, I decided to move on.
My core insight: offering development services to founders allows you to observe real market needs, understand founder mindsets, network, and gain industry insight before betting on a single product idea.
Building relationships over Twitter and platforms like Figma, I connected with aspiring founders, helping them with projects ranging from payment integrations to GitHub organization.
The name Dream Launch encapsulates our mission: helping founders launch their dreams as real products. The logo and visual identity of the company evolved organically, reflecting a fast-paced, design-forward ethos.
Early clients included founders and teams from Adobe, Amazon, Athena, Davo, Kaiser, Walmart, and several leading Indian startups and enterprises.
Living and working in Dharamshala with other builders not only fostered creativity, but also provided perspective after facing the emotional setback of being fired from a previous job.
Losing my job became the push needed to focus full-time on Dream Launch. Registering the company, expanding our client base, and iterating on services and templates helped us gain momentum.
By continuously posting updates and sharing real stories and learnings on Twitter, I attracted an audience of students and fellow entrepreneurs, ultimately leading to collaborations and podcasts.
We released over forty MVPs for founders across India, Dubai, the US, and Australia, expanding from local to international clientele.
Responding to market demand for AI-first products, we delivered solutions such as:
Some clients started with custom solutions and evolved into retainers, and one even saw their startup get acquired—validating the impact of our support.
Through consistent project delivery, client referrals, and product launches, Dream Launch crossed $25,000 in revenue in just 180 days.
Our service operates in four steps:
I share frameworks for founders on how to:
Find great communities/courses (e.g., 100xDevs, Chai Code, Pushk), focus on project-based learning, and leverage open resources.
Build a public presence, network, and contribute to emerging startups or open-source projects—visibility trumps raw skill.
Document your work publicly, build a reputation, use platforms like Fiverr, Contra, and relevant Discord servers.
Analyze market presence, find underserved niches, and use community outreach to gather real feedback before building.
The journey was shaped by being adaptive, open to trying new paths, and learning through real-world projects with paying clients.
Today, Dream Launch continues to serve clients around the world, delivering rapid, high-quality MVPs and sharing lessons via podcasts and tutorials.
My advice: Don't wait for a perfect idea or moment. Start building, helping others, sharing your journey, and be open to change.
If you ever need guidance or want to collaborate, reach out on social media—you'll find the answers and opportunities through genuine connections, learning, and perseverance.
